CAR SALES
If you are buying one of our own cars (as opposed to a commission sale car) you will be buying a vehicle we have probably known for some time. A great deal of the cars we buy are from known customers. Each vehicle is inspected pre-sale and will be handed over to you fully serviced, with a 12 month MOT certificate, fully valeted inside and out and most importantly it will be covered by our own warranty.
OUR WARRANTY If your new car has a problem within the specified period (usually 3 months) we will deal with it no matter how big or small. It's a two way street, we expect you to look after your car following the owners handbook. In return if something brakes or fails then we put it right free of charge. It's as simple as that. Peace of mind for you and happy customers for us. We DON'T sell you a warranty from a third party company who will lead you to believe that it covers everything only for you to find out that when you try to make a claim the problem is not covered. We will look after you and your car.
THE MGB A BRIEF HISTORY
The MGB was first introduced in 1962 at the Earls Court Motor Show and it was to become Britain’s best selling medium sized sports car of all time. It was powered by a 1798cc version of the BMC B series engine, which went on to power both the MGB & MGB GT models virtually unchanged (except for a 5 bearing crankshaft instead of 3 from 1964) for another 18 years. The transmission was a 4-speed manual gearbox with optional overdrive. Front disc brakes were standard and steering was by rack and pinion. In 1965 the MGB GT fixed head coupe was introduced. 1967 saw the introduction of the Mk II version, which benefited from an all-synchro-mesh gearbox, and an alternator instead of the earlier cars dynamo. It was late 1974 when the MGB gained the rubber bumpers. The MGB range was finally discontinued in 1980, but the popularity of the MGB today remains tremendous, with the model being well catered for by parts manufacturers and specialists such as our selves.
