SLH is, as the mileage suggests, a very original car. Built in September 1980, it was one of the early Limited Edition models produced in Abingdon in the production run of the last 470 MG B Roadsters. The body in is in Metallic Bronze as used on all LE Roadsters with the original Orange "Deck Chair" seats and Black Interior, optional extra silver painted wire wheels and an overdrive gearbox.
SLH has had just four owners from new. The history folder contains sufficient information to prove the mileage is genuine at just 46,948.
The bodywork is structurally original and has some paintwork in the past. The currewnt owner has owned SLH for 18 years and has used it frequently but only in small amounts hence the sale. The bodywork has stood up very well over this period and still looks very good.
There is a Works Style Hard Top as well as a black vinyl hood in good condition. The interior is complete and original, the original steering wheel completes the feel.
SLH drives very well and will make a superb investment as these are LEs are limited by definition and hold an appeal all of their own.
In the boot there is a spare wire wheel and a tool kit including a jack and hammer.
This really is a lovely example of a rare edition of the ubiquitous MGB.
